The Vogel cut, named after scientist Marcel Vogel (1917-1991) is known for his work of over 30 years at IBM researching clear terminated quartz crystals, amplifies the crystal's natural energy. Vogel discovered pointing raw crystals at other people amplified their thoughts and emotions which could be detected. These effects were amplified when he faceted the natural crystals along their c-axis with one end larger than the other creating a continuous flow of energy as a Tube Torus (think donut with the crystal thru the center hole) out from the smaller, masculine end and circled back around to the larger, feminine end. As it passed back thru the body of the crystal, the energy is purified and amplified in a continuous circle of energy.
