These slow burning, easy ignition Japanese-style silver charcoal squares are perfect for incense and resins - smokeless and odorless.
Cleaner burning than black charcoal disks, these Japanese-style charcoal cubes are made from bamboo and are traditionally used in Japanese cooking. They are smokeless and odorless making them perfect for burning incense such as resins and herbs.
We suggest using tongs and a torch with charcoal - hold firmly with tongs and use a torch flame to light one side (you can also hold it over a candle flame). Put in your favorite heat-proof burner (we suggest on a bed of sand or salt to help disperse the heat), then allow 2-3 minutes for it to full light before sprinkling with incense powder, resin or herbs.
