This Witches Cauldron is cast iron size 1/2 - perfect for general cookery for yourself or a small group, or as a ritual cauldron at your next sabbat. It holds 42 oz. and is 5 1/2 inches high.
Our traditional potbelly shaped cauldrons are symbolic of the womb of the Goddess with the 3 legs representing Mother, Maid and Crone - the 3 stages of a woman's life. Cauldrons are used in rituals to burn petitions, brew teas and potions, and so much more. Our food safe cast iron cauldrons can be used for ingestible brews such as teas made and consumed during part of your ritual as well as cooking stews and meals for after the ritual. You can also use it as a fire proof container to build a fire inside of to burn incense, petitions, herbs and more (be sure to set it on a fire proof surface or pad and we suggest filling partially with sand or soil to help disperse the heat).
Our cast iron cauldrons have a pot belly shape, large mouth top for easy cooking and stirring, attached steel handle, and 3 long legs to stand the perfect distance above your campfire. It comes complete with the cast iron lid with deep lip for holding hot coals to use for baking and roasting in addition to cooking stews, beans and more.
Made of pure cast iron with no pot-metal additives, is is carefully molded, polished, and pre-seasoned with oil to arrive ready to use at your next campsite or over your backyard firepit.
